PRTE DREAM REWARDS PROGRAM OFFICIAL RULES
(Open to North America travel agents only)
OVERVIEW: Beginning July1, 2010, The PRTE Rewards Program offers Puerto Rico Travel Experts the opportunity to earn cash rewards, based on the number of room nights booked and traveled. ELIGIBILITY: Eligibility is limited to Puerto Rico Travel Expert (PRTE) graduates who are bona fide travel agents, employed by an ARC / IATA / IATAN approved company, ASTA members and/or holders of a current ACE, CTA and CTC, DS or TCI certification. CLIA, NACTA and OSSN members are also welcomed. Participant must be a U.S. resident, age 18 or over as of July 1, 2009. Minimum of 10 room nights booked in each specified contest time period required for eligibility. Rewards payable as travel is verified. Only bookings made during each contest period and entered into the PRTE rewards system will be eligible for this contest. - PRTE REWARDS:
Agents are eligible to win one prize only during the 12-month period (July 1, 2010 to June 30, 2011) of the following: First Prize: $4,000, Second Prize: $2,500 or Third Prize: $2,000. Agents are eligible to win two prizes only during the 12-month period of the following: Fourth Prize: $1,000, Fifth Prize: $500. In addition, any agent who meets the eligibility requirements above and who is a PRTE will be entered into a random drawing sweepstakes for a grand prize of 5 days/4 nights in Puerto Rico, including air and accommodations for 2.
Contest One: Beginning July 1, 2010. Every 4 months, the top 4 agents will win cash rewards based on total number of room nights booked during each contest time period (July 1, 2010 - October 30, 2010; November 1 2010 - February 28, 2011, and March 1, 2011 - June 30, 2011) as follows: First Prize: $4,000. Second Prize: $2,500. Third Prize: $2,000. Fourth Prize: $1,000. In addition, during each contest time period, there will be a random drawing for a Fifth prize of $500. Rewards payable as travel is verified.
Contest Two: (July 2010-September 2010 - CLIA-certified agents only) This contest will reward the top 4 agents with valid CLIA certification, based on total number of room nights booked during the months of July through September 2010. First Prize: $4,000 cash. Second Prize: $2,500.Third Prize: $2,000. Fourth Prize $1,000. In addition, there will be a random drawing for a Fifth prize of $500. Rewards payable as travel is verified. CLIA certification status subject to verification by CLIA.
BOOKING ENTRIES: To receive credit for any reservation, the eligible PRTE must post the booking on the PRTE Rewards platform. All bookings are subject to verification by Sponsor and/or Administrator whose decision will be final. PRTEs who change travel agencies during the Promotion Period will need to re-enroll in the PRTE Rewards Program under the new agency. Such PRTE reservations under the different agencies will not be aggregated, but will be counted separately for purposes of calculating his/her total reservations. Reservations of different PRTEs working in the same or different travel agencies will not be aggregated. Any reservation given to another PRTE will be disqualified. - GENERAL CONDITIONS: Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify, in whole or in part, the Rewards Program if fraud, technical failures or any other factor beyond Sponsor's reasonable control impairs the integrity of the Program. In such event, Sponsor reserves the right to award Bonus Booking Rewards which have been earned through the termination of the Rewards Program. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Rewards Program or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Rewards Program is a violation of criminal and civil law, and Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.
RELEASE: By entering this Rewards Program, entrant agrees to release and hold harmless The Puerto Rico Tourism Company, Performance Media Group, Inc., their affiliates, any promotional partners, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents (collectively the "Released Parties") from and against any losses, damages, rights, claim or cause of action of any kind arising, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, out of participation in the Rewards Program or utilization of any Bonus Booking Reward(s) issued. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: The Released Parties shall not be responsible for: (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Rewards Program; (2) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software; (3) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the reservation booking process; (4) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Rewards Program or the processing of reservations; (5) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant's participation in the Rewards Program, or (6) late, lost, misdirected or incomplete bookings. If for any reason an entrant's entry is confirmed to have been erroneously deleted, lost, or otherwise destroyed or corrupted, entrant's sole remedy will be to receive credit for another qualified reservation. DISPUTES: Entrant agrees that: (i) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or in connection with the Rewards Program, or any Bonus Booking Reward issued shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey or the appropriate State Court located in Morris County, New Jersey; (ii) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering the Rewards Program but in no event attorneys' fees; and (iii) under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, or to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the entrant and Sponsor in connection with the Rewards Program shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of New Jersey, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules. MISCELLANEOUS: Void where prohibited, taxed or restricted by law. All federal, state and local taxes on Bonus Booking Rewards are the sole responsibility of the Reward recipients. By entering into this Rewards Program entrants agree to abide by these Official Rules and all decisions of Sponsor which will be binding. Acceptance of a Bonus Booking Reward constitutes permission by a Eligible Specialist to use his/her name, likeness, the name of the travel agency, business address, and statements attributable for him/her for advertising/promotion purposes without additional consideration, except where prohibited by law. SPONSORSHIP: The sponsor of the Rewards Program is The Puerto Rico Tourism Company, 135 W. 50th Street, 22 Floor, New York, N.Y. 10020 (the "Sponsor"). The Rewards Program is administered and supported by Performance Media Group, Inc., 593 Rancocas Road, Westampton, NJ 08060 (the "Administrator").
